Discovery Accelerator Export throughput

We have a number of large DA export jobs to run (30,000 ? 50,000) messages. Our only option is to export to a PST file (i.e. not to HTML or MSG formats). DA 5.0 SP4 claims to have improved DA Export performance to PST files so that a rate of up to 50,000 messages per hour can be achieved.

Here are some details on our environment:

-A quad-CPU server with 4GB memory, running typically less than 10% CPU utilization.
-All storage is fiber-attached SAN
-No disk space issues
-SQL server is not over-utilized
-LAN is 100mb switched network

The best throughput I have been able to achieve is 2,000 messages per hour. What throughputs are other installations observing? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

In your DiscoveryService.exe.config file search for
and make sure it is set to 0.

Also, if DA is on a seperate machine make sure the ev install on it matches the ev version of the evserver.

Also, you will want to check for to see if it is in the file and set to true.

Thanks for your suggestions. Both of the entries in DiscoveryService.exe.config are already as you suggest. And DA is runnning on the same server as EV. The problem has been escalated to engineering.

how many rows is tblProductionToDiscoverItems in the DA database?
