Duplicate Mailbox in EV Vault Store ?

Hi,

Can anyone explains as to why there are two mailbox with the same username in my EV VaultStore ?

how can a dpulicate mailbox created ?

Is it a duplicate mailbox or a duplicate archive?

Have you moved any mailboxes in Exchange?  Sometimes if a users is disabled and then re-enabled and the existing archive is selected a duplicate can be created.

Also to add on to what tony said, if you move users from one exchange to another and the legacymbxdn and exchGUID changes, EV will see it as a new mailbox But are you sure it's not something as simple as two people work there with the same name??

It is a duplicate archive, while the mailbox in Exchange Server is just one.

you are right I guess the reason is that this Mailbox / Employee was a contractor, the account re-enabled when needed basis.

Yes, the name is exactly the same.

I only have one Exchange Server in the domain.
