E-vault client - strange behavior - missing icons

we are facing a strage issue with the vault client for outlook 2007

currently we are running  the following :

- Enterprise vault 9.0.5

- outlook 2007

- evault client 9.0.5 and 8.0.5

 

using Ev client v9 :

------------------------------

an outlook profile created with 2 mailboxes (personal  and shared mailbox)  >>> only search vault button is available

 

using Ev client v8 :

------------------------------

an outlook profile created with 2 mailboxes (personal  and shared mailbox)  >>> all buttons are available without any issue

 

Note : regardelss the version if a sperate profile is created for each mailbox , all buttons will be vailable without any issues

we have already checked http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH57070

and we are running out of ideas...  would you please help us fixing this?

have you set client logging to maximum and reviewed logs from each scenario for comparison?

now i have been able to get the logs , we have already checked both files, but didn't find something interesting.. so what do u think? thanks in advance.

We have faced very similar issue.

after doing more investigation from our side : from the logs we noticed the primary account used in ol2007 isn't enabled which explains the reason that add-in v9 will not be able to show the buttons even if the 2nd mailbox is enabled what i can't understand (strange behavior) when we rollback to add-in v8 on outlook 2007, all buttons are visible even if the primary mailbox isn't enabled. any idea?
