EV 11 and Office Web App issues (OWA)

Hi

We just recently added Exchange 2016 into an existing EV 11 system. The plan is to move all users over to this eventually.

The existing environment (Exchange 2010) is working perfectly, both internal archiving and OWA

Enterprise Vault 11.0.1 chf5

We are having issues getting the OWA or Office Web App working.

We have used this guide from this forum to set things up:

- Generated the SSL certificate

- Switched the EV to use HTTPS (at the Site properties)

- Checked IIS to use SSL on the Default Site on the EV server

- Runned the RestoreShortcutBody=1 to convert shortcut links to HTTPS (regedit) for one user (to test)

 

The problem is that when we try to open an archived email we are prompted for username/password. This also apply to the existing Exchange 2010 users as well!

most probably Solution 1, 2 or 3 in https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH56220 should fix the issue.
