I just upgraded my EV to version 11 about 2 weeks ago. My users have started complaining that when they open an archived email they are prompted to download/save the messge. I don't see any option in the Desktop Policy that controls that feature. How can I change that behavior. Can I remove download as an option.

then i would strongly suggest opening a case with Microsoft as its an IE behavior, and the workaround that i posted is a workaround they post as well

As mentioned before, i've tested this in multiple environments, and works for me, so i assume theres a GPO or something in your environments thats stopping it from working correctly

I guess it is. The workaround didn't work for me.

I honestly wish i knew why the workaround doesn't work for you guys cos i've tested it on as many machines i could (about 10) and it works each time, so really not sure why it wouldn't work, but as I said, its a microsoft key so if you can, and if its an avenue you want to pursue, try contacting microsoft, because they use that workaround for other products that require the items to be opened seamlessly

Did you make the reg changes on the workstation or EV server?

on the client

This workaround doesn't work for me either. I have a new EVault 11 implementation with Windows 7 and IE 10.
