EV 9.0.3 and Domino archiving

Many Q's ..

I'm not sure what which are archived in the Notes / Domino environment!
We have chosen to restore archived items from EV menus in the Notes client!
The reason is that we have to read back to the correct folders ..
All archives for test users must be emptied of information!

Testusers = selected Domino users!!

What happens with the calendar information etc..?

1. Calendar Bookings?
2. To Do items
3. Contact information
4. Personal message groups
5. Attachments

Hi ..

oops .. restore to correct folder in users Notes Clients ..

EVDominoExporter cannot restore to users "original" subfolders ..

EV menu option in Notes Client can do so ..

'EVDominoExporter cannot restore to users "original" subfolders', true but you can configure the NSF file to have the same folder structure of the original mailbox http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH155563

Massimo, I am familiar with this feature, and we have chosen to use EV menus in the Notes client for restore ..
Notes admin asked me about what is archived from the Notes calendar ....

An appointment in the calendar giving a 1KB file in the inbox ..

Will the file be archived?

Hello Bo, 

Calendar items are not converted into shortcuts after the archiving, if the policy setting 'Strip Attachments to non-shortcut items' is set to ON enterprise vault only strip any attachments from the Calendar items (appointments, task, meeting).

You have written that a calendar item is at 1 KB, then perhaps its attachment was stripped by the EV archiving.

From 'All Documents' you should be able to restore (using the EV menu) also the calendar items archived by EV.
