Hi

Have you got many of those entries?
In general, i think that those could be corrupted files.
MP3 is clear that it can't be converted... :)

Cheers

Hi Nel40,

I am getting these same errors in the event log too. The URL kindly provided by sym_se_support01 doesn't really help much other than telling you how to ignore or hide the problem more effectively. I am very keen for people to be able to view PDFs through the Web archive viewer, so would like to find out how to fix this if at all possible. I have been getting other warning log entries with event id 6629. I spoke to EV support who confirmed this is where the converter is trying to convert a PDF that contains a scanned image of something, rather than a native PDF which would contain searchable text. It looks to me as though the event id 6630 is where the native PDFs, with searchable text, are also failing to be converted into HTML, but the converters are able to convert the file to text. I'm not sure how well this conversion works, because, if you've ever opened a PDF file in a text editor, you will see text, but only the PostScript text, which is unusable; unless you're able to decode PostScript in your head! Smiley Happy

Regards,

David.
