EV FSA and Windows Offline Files

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can clarify something for me, it's about making archived placeholders available via Windows Offline files in Windows 7.

From what i understand this should work ok but for some reason it doesn't in my environment.

I'm using WS 2003 MSCS and have pass through enabled.

Any thoughts?

The Registry Key should be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\FSA\PlaceholderService

This is only for use on the file server where the Enterprise Vault FSA Agent has been installed, the Enterprise Vault FSA Agent is not installed on a windows 7 machine.

Hi,

For testing purpose put following registry and test it :

The following needs to be set in the registry on the file server under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Enterprise Vault\FSA\PlaceholderService so that the recalls can be processed more quickly and not be limited.
 

BypassRecalLimitsForAdmins set to 1
 

RecallLimitMaxRecalls set to 99 decimal
 

RecallLimitTimeInterval set to 1
 

RevertItemsToPlaceholders set to 0
 

Restart the EV Placeholder Service.
