EV Outlook Anywhere Authentication Prompt

Hi all,

By design, Outlook Anywhere users are prompted for username and password when attempting to open Enterprise Vault archived items (once per session, http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH56220). Also, users are prompted to introduce credentials whenever they open Outlook while using RPC over HTTP(s).

We know we can bypass the Exchange/Outlook authentication by saving the credentials within Windows Credentials manager. What about the EV authentication? Are you aware of any workaround to bypass the authentication prompt? We have tried saving the credentials the same way we did it for Outlook, but the pop-up continue to appear.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the late reply, I missed this one.

I don't believe you will be able to change that, hence the "by design" designation.
