Hello Ton,
You can enable VaultCache, and disable Virtual Vault.
If you want to use VV, you can enable VC, but if you select to do only header information, the local file will be small.
This WhitePaper describes it more extensive.

The add-in MSI comes in 2 flavors, x86 and x64, respectively 29 and 46MB

Not initially, only if you configure to use Vault Cache

Thank you for your enlightenment.
You mean is that if I install Outlook Add-in on user desktop it will not create any Data File Locally unless configure a Vault Cache.
If my understanding is correct the Vault Cache also enabling the Virtual Vault.
Is this not be stored in The EV Server instead in the user desktop?
