EV Pre and Post Checks when upgrading Exchange Server 2010 SP1 to SP3

We are using EV version 9.0.3 and we are planning to upgrade Exchange 2010 Sp1 to SP3 and we want to know if we need to do any pre or post changes or any special considerations to be done on the enterprise vault server during the upgrade.

Please help on knowing the details. Thanks.

Sorry to say but EV 9.0.3 is not supported with Exchange 2010 SP3. Its still not tested by QA team.

Yes, we saw this information on Symantec Enterprise Vault™ Compatibility Charts. Any idea when it be formerly announced as supported. 

what about, if we are upgrading to Exchange Server 2010 SP2 with Rollup 6?

Personally I doubt EV 9.0.3 will ever be certified in that configuration.

Yes you can upgrade to Exchange 2010 SP2 with EV 9.0 SP3. Rollups are not specifically certified, but if we find any issue with specific rollup then it can be raised internally by support.

AFAIK, it should be good to go for exchange 2010 SP2.

Now thats your first step while upgrading the exchange servers, thats is to check the compatibility. Other thigs which might require a change after you upgrade your CAS to 2010 SP2 is reinstall OWA extensions.
