Did you mean:

EV Reporting (again)

Hi,

Following on from this thread:

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/ev-reporting-2

I couldn't resist tidying up and so uninstalled SQL Reporting Services and removed the IIS sites from the EV box.

Now I find that I need to apply the latest EV service pack as part of a support call we have open, and the installer complains that:

EVOM Reporting: Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services is not installed on this computer.

Symantec support advises me that as this is an install issue, I need to talk to prefessional services.

Does anyone know a way of making setup skip the checks? Or can I fool the system into thinking that EV Reporting is not installed?

Otherwise I'm going to have to re-install SRS...

Thanks.

Any chance you could post the XML install logs?
Your best bet though really is going to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Install
EVOMReporting  (String)

Change this from Installed to Not Installed and try the installation again

Changing the registry string to "Not Installed" worked a treat!

Thank you.
