Hi all,
I'm trying to install the EV reporting services on a clustered SQL env.
the DBA cannot provide me with MSSQL instance, so he created a VAULT instance.
when I choose the SQL Reporting Servuces Instance to be "VAULT" instead of "MSSQL" I get the following error :
"check that microsoft reporting services is running"
Is there a way to bypass this?
is using the MSSQL instance is the only sulotion available?
would appriciate your help.
Sarah.

Are you sure that your DBA installed the SQL Reporting services on the SQL server you are trying to connect to ?

Enable Integrated WindowsAuthentication on the Enterprise Vault Reporting virtual directory.

Gut instinct is that ZeR0 is right, but i guess the thing is, did he create you a whole new instance *just* for ev reporting? thats odd, anywho, when you try to configure the environment it should be generating a log file in the temp directory
Any chance we can see that log file?

and he defenitly installed it on the SQL server, but since it's clustered I think we might missed something...
thanks

You can't cluster reporting services. So DBA must have installed a seperate standalone instance - MSSQL i.e. default and VAULT is your clustered SQL instance for EV.
It should still work just go through the reporting guide to configure EV reporting. Give yourself the appropirate content manager rights to the VSA before that.
