EV Server Settings Migration Wizard

Hi Everyone,

I have an urgent query as I need to do an EV Migration.

I have to Migrate EV 10.0.4 in Windows 2008 R2 box to EV 10.0.4 Windows 2012 R2 box.

Then I need to upgrade EV to 11.0 CHF4.

Please suggest which server migration wizard tool can I use as I heard there is no tool to migrate EV 10 from one machine to another. 

I have 1.0.0.1246 Version of the Migration tool.

AFAIK, You can use SSMW attached in following TN can help to migrate EV 10.04 FROM win2k8 R2 to win2k12 R2 server.

There is no separate tool to migrate the server, Just to mentioned this tool is NOT supported for EV 11.0.X OR later migration.

SSMW is really for migrating from 32 bit to 64 bit hardware, from the documentation:

0. The Enterprise Vault Server Settings Migration wizard helps you to migrate Enterprise Vault from a 32-bit computer to a 64-bit computer.  

To move same version to same version, ie swap hardware there are other KB resources that will help you.

you dont need any tools to move EV to a new server in your scenario.

Hi Sam you can follow this documets to perform this migration https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH55377 Before the uograde of the ev version you need to move the ev istances to the new server, after this is possible to upgrede the version of ev (remember the order to upgrade)
