EV Support for Datadomain and Avamar

Can someone confirm if the below storage is supported by Enterprise Vault 10 for storing archived data. Also I would like to know if it is possible to move existing vault store partitions to DataDomain. Will this enable the benefits of deduplication feature of datadomain on those moved partitions or is it applicable to only new partition created on datadomain storage.

Avamar isn't specifically listed in the Compatibility doc but you are using if for backup, right?  It should be fine as long as you are able to remove the archive bit.  If not, you will need to use the trigger file method.

Datadomain is listed as supported as a Storage Device with this link as well in regards to Retention Lock:

I believe to be able to get the de-duplication you would need to use Move Archive or a third-party tool such as Akaibu or TVS to migrate your archives to the new storage device.
