EV and Trialworks?

EV2007 SP4 EXCH2K3 SP2

Anyone here have any experience with a product called Trialworks (for the legal community)? Apparently the newest version "hooks" into Outlook 2007 (add-in) and BREAKS EV when trying to double-click a vaulted item to open. (AE access works just fine).

I turned up logging at the client, but nothing useful shows. Sometimes Outlook crashes and has to be restarted, other times a pop-up is shown:

"This item cannot be displayed. Additional information: You may need to install additional software to view items of this type or it may only be possible to display this item from the folder that contains this item."

Disabling the Trialworks add-in makes it all go away, so guilt has been established.

Just hoping that someone has tripped over something like this before and has some information.

Thanks.

The vendor supplied a "fix" which is to disable their add-in while development looks into it.

Any Symantec folks might want to add this product to their radar for future problem calls from Trialworks clients.

You'd think that the legal profession would be HUGE customers of an archiving solution, eh?

Thanks.
