EV icons/button missing on OWA page

Hi,

I am new to EV, Exchange and IIS server.  I have installed exchange 2007 with OWA extensions in one server and EV(I believe its 2007)on another server - all are windows 2008 and IIS 7 servers

My requirement is that I need to run OWA application pool with an identity and Windows authentication needs to be enabled all the time.  When I run OWA app pool with custom identity (with admin permissions, added into act as operations system, log on as service, given full permission on C drive on exchange and EV servers) the EV icons are missing on OWA site.  But when I run the OWA app pool with localsystem(default) account I am getting the button as usual.  Appreciate if some one can help me to solve this.  Thanks.

I am getting internal 500 error when I run OWA pool with custom identity.  Here is the log

Exception sending WebDAV request: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error.
   at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()
   at Symantec.EnterpriseVault.Owa.ExchangeStoreAccess.WebDAVRequest.Send()

I have tried:
-- reinstall EV extension for owa
-- updated web.config with
<add key="EnterpriseVault_ResourceVersion" value="v8.0.4.1991" />
<add key="EnterpriseVault_WebDAVRequestProtocol" value="https" />
<add key="EnterpriseVault_WebDAVRequestHost" value="exchange fqdn"/>
<add key="EnterpriseVault_ExchangeWebServicesUrl" value="https://exchange/ews/exchange.asmx"/>
<add key="EnterpriseVault_UseExternalWebAppUrl" value="True"/>
<add key="EnterpriseVault_ExternalWebAppUrl" value="Https:/enterprisevault"/>
<add key="EnterpriseVault_LogEnabled" value="true" />
<add key="EnterpriseVault_LogFolder" value="C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\OWA 2007\Logs\" />
<add key="EnterpriseVault_HttpWebRequestTimeout" value="60000" />

--setup constraint delegation from Exchange server to EnteprriseVault server (selected http type)
None of them solved my problem.

When I  turn off windows authentication in exchange and enterprisevault IIS servers I am getting following error.

When I entered https://exchange/ews/exchange.asmx in IE it works fine and https://exchange fqdn/exchange/APP_EVault@egpcore.egp.qld.gov.au it throws basic login page if windows auth is not enabled, works fine once key in the credentials

In both cases, with or without windows authentication I am getting different errors.   But when I run OWA application pool with localsystem account everything works fine. Any idea how to fix this?

One thing I did notice here is a typo in a URL

<add key="EnterpriseVault_ExternalWebAppUrl" value="Https:/enterprisevault"/>

Thanks for your reply ...

It does not help after adding missing '/'.

Do I need to do any settings/configurations to run OWA pool with domain account.  If I run with localsystem account it works very much fine.
