Interesting issue.
We use a query based AD-group to provisioing everyone with a mailbox on exchange-servers. This was done for mailbox-archiving for a while, and recently, the same group is used to apply the new search-policy.
I now have a few users that have issues with the new search. For whatever reason, they get a message "you do not have access to any archive".
This is under investigation with Symantec.
One of the users has reported that when he uses the Mobile Search from his Blackberry, he DOES get access to his archive, but that is hear say, and I need to verify!
I would like to return the affected users to the 'old' search. Now, due to the target being an query based group, there is no way I can exclude these few persons from the Search Provisioning group right?
Should I either define every user in the Search PG, and leave out the affected ones?
Can you ' return' to the old search after you have been given the new search?
