EV80SP2 - Monitoring webpage - Cumulative size of logfiles indicates what?

Hello all,

In the monitoring webpage of EV, what does the column Cumulative size of all the log files in the database (KB) (3th and 4th of the bottom) inidcate?

Is this the size of the transaction-logfiles? the logfiles of the specific database? other logfile?

And, how do I get this down?
I have no control anymore over the SQL-server the EV-databases are on, this is being done by the SQL-support team. I would like to be able to tell them what to do, so this number goes down.

Thanks!

Gertjan

I believe this is a cumulative size of the logfiles for the databases and will be the transactions logs.

the way to get this down is really to do with backups etc of the database and the settings the SQL admins have in place.

The MS article below may help you undertand, but I would expect your SQL admins to know already.
