EV9 missing AP:s after adding new FS ..

Hello ,,

EV 9.0.2 and Windows 2008 R2 FS:s

I know that missing AP:s have been discussed in the forum but ..

After adding a new FS for archiving!

FSA in report mode could not be completed for the new FS ..

I have 4 rules in the Volume Policy

Deny rule
Office rule
Graphical ..
Media ..

Only Deny rule was completed

Manually stopped the FSA Task in Report Mode

Made a new attempt with an FSA task in report mode

 .. nothing happened with the job and in the EV log I got this

"The file system volume \\?\UNC\xxx.xxx.xxx.xx\media has no Archive points associated.
No items will be archived for this volume."

..for all FS:s ..

I know there are solutions to the problem by modifying the EV SQL DB!

I want to know what is causing this behavior, so if there is someone to guide me I would be grateful ..

You either have to add an archive point by creating a folder target and using the wizard to create the archive point, or create it using the archivepoints.exe command.

and see if that helps.

If it won't help then you need to perform a dtrace while running the FSA archiving task, probably you may find the cause.
