Has anyone else seen this issue:
I have a standard EV9 installation on WIN2k8 using IIS7.
Standard archiving works fine, http connection to webpage works fine, so IIS (7) is running.
Problem 1: IIS Manager in MMS EVconsole snap-in fails to connect to IIS: "There was an error when trying to connect.."
The configuration section "ModuleProviders" cannot be read because it is missing a section declaration.
When running inetMGR from the command line, it works fine.
Problem 2: The usage.asp script works fine when run as the EV service account on localhost.
But fails with "access denied" when run remotely. Windows firewall is OFF.
Any ideas?

there's also this TN that I wrote agggeeesss ago, which is a bit neater and keeps security intact http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH50913 - worth testing on a lab install first just to make sure it's what you expect :)

1: It's because the vault.msc is running mmc in 32 bit mode but I guess the IIS snapin require 64bit mode.
You get the same error if you just launch mmc with, mmc -32
2: I've seen the same before, I think I read some explanation but can't remember what it was, you can get around the issue temporarely (unless you want to stick to basic authentication) by following this tech note:

Thanks.
I will try the above solutions in the lab and get back to you.
