 Hello,
As we are planning a migration of our data from NTFS to Centera, I'm searching for a tool which could show me that the data are copied in the Centera Pool.
It seems that the EVCenteraChecker is the right tool for this But unfortunately I don't manage to find it.
Could anyone of you say me where I could find or download( URL link) it ?.
Thanks
sandrine

Hi Sandrine,

You actually need the tool NTFSCenteraMigrator, this should be explained in the utilities document in your EV directory

Thanks

HI Sandrine,

It depends what version of Enterprise Vault you have.  Here is a link to CenteraChecker, if it is not the correct version search that site, if you still don't see the correct version for your environment please contact support and ask them for it.

For version 8.0 we now use EVSVR

As far as I am aware, there is no option in EVSVR to tell you about replication...... this might have changed in SP2, but I doubt it.

I have just checked the SP2 documentation and no, EVSVR cannot report on that information.....

Hi Wayne,

but didn't evcenterachecker just check the pool on the primary node to confirm the saveset exists, which EVSVR verify and archiveobjects will do, which is the question.

Or

Unless I am wrong and interpretated what you are you saying incorrectly about the replication are you talking about the replication between primary and replica centera nodes, as I cannot find anything that says evcenterachecjer did this, I know the storagefilewatch process did clip exists on both nodes when set to after backup, but you had access to more info than me when here :)

Ignore last comment just found the line where it mentions checking the replica for the clip in evcenterachecker :)

Jon,

To be honest, the only way I know that you can verify a C-Clip has been replicated is using Centera Viewer.

Hi Sandrine,

Yes just to confirm EVCC is not supported for EV 8.0,

To check the replication of clips between primary and replica which is an option in EVCC, this is to be included into EVSVR in a future release

thanks

As far as I'm aware, they only use a single centera, not a replication pair.
I think the "problem" here is that she wants to confirm that the clips are really written to centera by the ntfs2centera migrator.

Cheers
