EVConfiguration DB backup?

We just recently switched to using the Netbackup Enterprise Vault Agent and there is no directive to backup the EVConfiguration DB. Should that be a separate sql backup policy and does vault need to be in backup mode for that DB?

yes you need a seperate sql agent to backup the databases that arent part of the EV directives and like you said, separate backup policy. i believe the database you're referring to is the DA configuration database so while it's not critical that EV be in backup mode, it is a good idea.
