Enterprise Vault 11.0.1 running on 2008 R2 migration to new 2012 R2. New Hardware.

Hi,

Can you please help me understand what should be done for this migration. I migrated Mail, file archiving and Journaling, but never SMTP archiving server.

It will be Ev 11.0.1 to 12.3. 

I will in place upgrade from 11.0.1 to 12.3 and build new server Win 2016.

Install all pre-reqs for SMTP archiving, but do not know what data needs to be moved to new server.

From a data perspective the only thing that you need to be concerned about is if there is any content in the SMTP Holding folder.

Agree with Paul. Follow the same process and make sure the data is mapped to the new server.
