I am looking for anyone running Enterprise Vault 6 sp3 with EMC's centera centrastar 4 (4.x) code.  If so, can you tell me if there were any issues with this configuration?

Hi,

 

We used to run this config before we upgraded to EV 2007 and we had no issues.

 

I assume you are asking because either you are having issues or are planning on upgrading your os on your Centera.

We are looking to upgrade our configuration and just looking for validation from others in the field. 

 

I gather you had no issues with support from Symantec with this configuration either?

No we had no issues. Since all the communication between the EV environment and the Centera is via the API over IP and since EMC write the API to be compatable I dont see any issue.

 

If you are really worried make a call to support and ask them. If there is any issues they would have it in their support database and they will let you know if they have seen issues.

I'm sure support have a broader look on any issues that show up.
