Hi
We are using the above mentiond version of enterprise vault with Exchange Server 2007, Very resently we migrated our mail server from 2007 to 2013, and while the archiving was stopped for users. the migration of users who were not having archiving was carraid out in batches, we kept the users under archive still on the old mail server. The idea was to export all archived mail to the original mail box of the users and then migrate them to the new server.
But my mistake the enterprise mailbox accedently got migrated to the new server, eventhough we reverted the mailbox to the original mail server, i am having issues now. the archiveing to original mail box is not working now. following errors are now seen in the event viewer

So it sounds like you are using the VSA as the system mailbox. I would try creating a new one.

Changing the mailbox to which EV connects
A good diagnostic step is to change the mailbox EV uses to connect to the Exchange System to an existing mailbox that does not have any issues. Follow these steps within the Vault Admin Console (VAC).
1. Expand Enterprise Vault Servers > Enterprise Vault > Tasks
2. Stop the archiving task that is going to be modified.
3. Right click the now stopped archiving task > Properties > Settings tab.
4. Click the Browse button to select an alternate System mailbox.
5. Click OK and re-start the task.

Not real sure what happened TBH. It is not recommended to use the VSA mailbox as a System Mailbox any how so you should be fine moving forward.
