Enterprise Vault - Advanced Search older than x years showing younger items

I have client that when the use the Advanded Search in Enterprise Vault and choose items that are older than 5 years old they are geeting items that are newer than 5 years old.

Is this normal behavior?

I am running version 10.0.1.  Thanks for the TECH doc.  That looks exactly on point.
