Enterprise Vault Apply Policy

This probably has been asked before. We have a default EV policy that is applied to all users. We have created a seperate policy that we want to apply just to one or two users. How can this be done?  Also, does their email that was previously archived retain the schedule per the previous policy?

to answer the second part of your question, "Also, does their email that was previously archived retain the schedule per the previous policy?"

the changes to retention do not apply retroactively. if you assign a new retention category only newly archived items will be assigned that retention category.

It can be done using provisioning group . You create a provisioning group and assing a user or a group or user to the provisioning group . Once you have created the provisioning group you need to make sure you rank them properly so correct policy get assinged to the users. Then run the provisioning task.

In Vac , under targets you can right click on exchange and check the policy assinged to the user .
