Enterprise Vault Directory Service won't start after Upgrade to EV 12

Hi,

my Enterprise Vault Directory Service is not starting properly after upgrading from EV 11 to EV 12. It is in running state for a moment, then gets degraded with event 8193 "The Directory Service has stopped" and Event 40975 "unable to access the Directory Service... check that the directory service is running"

It is Windows 2012 R2 and EV Single Server.

Hope SQL services are in running state.

Long shot, but I had this weird issue with services : - Open Services.msc, open properties of Drirectory service. Verify the locatio the service is pointing to in regards to the exe called is correct. I had my indexing service start/stop, due to the exe tried was in program files, instead of in program files (x86)

If that is ok, perhaps a re-install of the binaries will help.

in meantime I have installed 12.0.1 - and it seems to work now.
