Enterprise Vault Error Event ID's 3007, 2244 and 2270

Hello to all,

I have the following issue with my Enterprise Vault 8.03 ver. that each day, after processing the exchange system mailbox in the event viewer are appearing multiple times some kind of error event id's.
These ID's are: 3007, 2244 and 2270.

Usually i already found the symantec KB about this issue, but there is some misunderstanding with this article, so here is the URL - http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/320741.htm


So,... following this article the question is:
The hotfix and changes in the registry mentioned in the document, should i execute and implement on client side or server side machine.. ?

And.. if anyone have some kind of experience and solutions about this issue.

Hello Bagrationi,

Did you install the hotfix while logged in with the Vault Service Account?
Did you start Outlook after applying the hotfix.

If the key does not exist then, create it manually.

I had the same in the previous environment I supported. We applied the fix, and it resolved the issue.

I already try this solution suggested from you,.. i installed the hotfix on Evault server and when try to edit and change the following registry -

 "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Options\Mail"....  in the registry editor on the Evault Server, i'm not found the last folder named as "Mail" to edit him.

So,.. I have only installed hotfix on server without any result and the same error and warning event ID's still continue appearing

May i missed something,.. ?

I have created it manually and now all error and warning event id's go away....
