Hello,
It's not easy to have a clear explanation of the licensing model for Enterprise Vault File System Archiving.
In the licensing guide, I found that there is a tool (Enterprise Vault License Analyzer).
Can someone confirm that the value given by this tool, under the label "Size of all FSA Archives (GB)" is the value to take in account for the licenses ?
thanks in advance,
Christophe

nop.
The FSA license is (I believe) based on how many TB you are going to ARCHIVE, not what you have in your Archive.
Your best bet is to call customer support (not Technical Support), as they can explain clearly. Or, ofcourse, your Veritas partner :)

According the user guide of the license anlyzer: "EVLA will provide the amount of archived data that resides in File System archives".
So it's not the size of the archive but the size of what have been archived.

It is the target volume. Yes.
As far as i remember there were different packages:
1TB, 2TB, 5TB, 25TB
obviously the price decreases per TB with rising demands.
