I need to give a user access tot he Exchange Archiving reports on the Enterprise Vault Reports page. How do I go about doing that? I can currently login with the EV account but that's it.

If you are asking about new EV feature then By default EV service would only be able to access /enterprisevault/exchangearchivingreport.aspx page, You can give 'messaging administrator' role from authorization manager to user then access reports webpage by user credential.
Refer "Assigning roles for administration"

Hey Baron164,
I am not sure exactly which site you are talking about, but can you set the page to anonymous authentication in your environment? I think I have it setup that way so that it would be easy for our staff to access.

if you're talking about SSRS, you can just assign permissions directly through SSRS itself

Wouldn't that role give them 'quite a bit more' than just access to the EV Archiving Task Report?

Could I use the Monitoring Application role instead of the Messaging Administrator Role or no?

'monitoring application' role does not work in this situation, but We need atleast "exchange administrator" role to view reports, I am not currently sure about granular level task which needs to be there.

As a matter of interest, why do you want to give a user access to the Archiving Task reports page?

I want one of the admins to be able to check the mailbox archiving reports without logging into the EV account. I tried giving the user both Messaging Administrator and Exchange Administrator and they were still unable to view the report page.

Have you close Authorization manager & save the authorization store to directory database (at it ask after closing MMC).

Are you able open reports with another user now?
