Seems obvious right? Think again!
Customers specs
Window server 2000 sp4
Enterprise vault 7.0 sp4

The customer has IIS 5.0 and ASP .net is on the tab.
In add and remove windows components asp is not an option like in windows 2k3.

When I run the and install the enterprise vault deploiyment scanner 7.5 I get these results.

Hello,

Never assum the obvious has been done. Been there done that.

Check in IIS that asp is enabled and allowed.
Check in add/remove programms that asp. net is listed and installed. If necwessary run it again.
Check  ‘aspnet_regiis.exe -i’ in <WindowsDir>\Microsoft.NET\Framework\<version number>\

if necessary, re-install .net

You should consider upgrading your OS, too. As EV8 does not support Windows 2000 anymore AFAIK.

Cheers
