End users should be working with the EV Admins. It could be a bit risky to just having end users installing things by themselves as there are potential issues and risks. The EV Admins really need to know what is going on in the environment.

there's no word on support for Yosemite but with the release of EV 11, you can take advantage of IMAP access to your archive and no longer have to worry about managing the EV client on Macs.

The new client along released on 5-Jan-2015 with EV 11.0.1 is works fine with OS X Yosmite 10.10.1 in Outlook 2011. This can be download from the file connect.

it'll ask you for your EV serial number and then let you download the client package or the full EV package

So we can't just find the client downloads, we have to have the serial number for whatever our BIS department has installed? How do the end users even find out which version of Enterprise Vault is being used?

Just as an FYI, our BIS department was able to locate the new EV 11 Mac client and it worked for the Yosemite users on OS X 10.10.2
