Enterprise Vault archiving/journaling across 2 exchange organisations

Hey all,

We have a requirement to journal and archive email from a new trusted forest which will be part of our company structure and I was wondering if this would be possible to expand our current EV deployment within our own forest to this new exchange organisation?

The new forests' exchange servers will be physically located in the same environment as our existing exchange infrastructure but due to the nature of the company structure it must be in a seperate forest and therefore a seperate exchange organisation.

I'd like to be able to add mailstores from the new exchange server to our existing EV archiving and journaling service. Does anyone know if this is something which can be achieved or if it is even supported?

We are running EV 9.0.2.

Yes, that is both supported and achievable. 

You will want to do the appropriate planning for the number of EV servers and storage to support the new Exchange servers.  You also need to make sure the Vault Service Account will be able to be granted the appropriate permissions in the other forest but as long as your trust are in place this should not be a problem.
