Dear Sir,
I have Enterprise Vault Server edition 10.0.4 used just for mail archiving, i have an issue with our implemented antivirus system when i initiate a scanning job it returns an error jobs that the files need to be scanned are locked, my concern is that i have infected emails been already archived and need to be cleaned, is there any tool or setting i can do to enable scanning for the DVS and DVSSP files to ensure that all my emails are cleaned. the attached files shows the report given by my AV Software.

1. your AV should be scanning the email long before EV touches it. if somehow it was missed then when the email is restored your AV should catch it.
2. you need to exclude all EV data locations from antivirus scanning or risk corruption and data loss of your archive. see this technote for details:
