Hi Guys,

I keep seeing the below error on servers running EV8 SP 2 + 3. Please can someone explain this error as none of the server I have seen with this error have any form of deletions enabled. Has anyone managed to find a solution to this error? The only information I can find on this error is this: http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/287613.htm and there servers arent doing centera migrations.

I have only seen these errors on v8 when using SQL 200 SP4. Upgrading to SQL 2005 should resolve this

Don't suppose you got any 13360 errors from the directory service did you?
0x80040e21 is a SQL Server error, can you access the EVJournal database in SQL? (i.e. its not in single user mode, suspect mode etc?)
best thing you can do other than that is dtrace the StorageDelete process, restart the storage service and see what comes up in the logs

theres definitely sql connectivity issues there then get a dtrace of storageDelete and whilst its dtracing immediately restart the storage service it will capture the 13360 errors as well as they are apart of the same storage delete thread
