Error with EV partitons after server recovery

Hi,

We have recovered one of our old servers to export a users data.

The SQL appears to have restored OK, we have the data partitions and we have installed a new server with the same name (its version 7.5)

After running the config and EV has repaired the services i can launch the admin console OK, and i can access the list of archives etc without issue.

The only problem is that the Partitions under the Vault Store group havent appeared (Although present in the Partition Entry table) and so i cant export what i need to.

When you click on the Vault Store group i get the following error:

Failed to read the archives for Vault Store "Name"

The EnterpriseVault.DirectoryConnection Object returned an error.

Any suggestions/comments?

I'm confused, you said its Ev2007 (7.5) but vault store groups didnt come in till ev8

SOrry, Just my mistype of terminology as it was late!

Under the vault store the vault store is present, but the partitions cant be read underneat that...

Gotcha! Can you check the VaultStoreEntry database table in the enterpriseVaultDirectory database and make sure that the SQL server is correct?

Yes it appears that its pointing to the SQL server that we are now using...
