Hello,
Does anyone now if "TransVault" has tools available to ingest data from Google Mail solutions to an Enterprise Vault archive for discovery purposes? Any specific requirements if mail is in a Hosted Solution besides permissions granted by the solution provider?
I will be reaching out to "TransVault", but wondered if anyone has experience with this.
Thanks,
D
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi D,
we did something like this as a prototype.
It runs as a scheduled task and ingests every mail from specified gmail accounts into EV using the ECM API.
You can chooose to delete the original in GMail after succecssful archiving or just to "copy" into the archive (e.g. Journal Mailbox)
If you want, drop me a mail under peter.kozak@quadrotech-it.com
Best regards,
Peter

based on their migration matrix sheet i'm going to say no, however, they are very capable of quickly turning around custom solutions for things like this. i'm going to forward this request to them for you too.

As far as I know there is no tool available! May be some one from Symantec help you.

Can't you just export the e-mail to PST and then ingest it trough native EV functionality?
