Hiya,

What version of EV are you?  Are you currently doing pst migrations?  If yes, server, client, or wizard?

Also, are you storing to Centera?

Hi,
First thing I suggest is capturing a dtrace of migratorserver and make sure that event occurs whilst the event gets logged.  that should give you more context of what's going on and will be useful to us here and/or to tech support.

Hi,

Sorry for the late answer. I'm in EV 8.0 and we are not doing pst migration for the moment. Also we are not storing to Centera.

I would recommend getting support involved.  My suspicion is there is something amiss with your configuration and a hands on view is the best way to troubleshoot this type of issue.

As for the Event ID, I personally have never came across that one.  Are there any other events listed with it?  How about if you restart the Admin task, do you see any warnings or errors when you start up?

Thank you for your help.

I have also the event id 6843 and 6796 during the collector task.

I didn't find the Admin task, maybe you talk about Admin Service ?

Yes I meant restart the Admin Service.  Can you look on the properties of your Vault Store Partition and tell me if you are inabled for Collection and Migrate?

Msurfer

I can not restart the Admin Service because we are in production but we have restarted it 10 days ago and there is no error message in the event viewer.
In the properties of the VaultStore partition, Collection is enabled but not migrate.

So are the errors occurring only during the collection scheduled time?  You might have some saveset issues with consistency.

You might could try this:

How to use EVSVR to verify savesets in the vault store database

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? We are experiencing the same errors, but only started since we have upgraded to EV 8.0.4.

thanks

We have opened a ticket with symantec, I will share the results with you.

Have you seen this article before?

Thank you for your help. I have opened a case few weeks ago with Symantec but they never told me about this article.

Let me know if you obtain some answers from them.

Regards.

Try resetting the password for the Vault Service Account under "Administrative Tools | Component Services | DCOM Config | Migrator Server | Identity Tab".
I would browse to the VSA and reset the password. You don't have to change the password.
