Exchange Archiving Task not Archiving

Greeting Evault Guru's,

i have an issue with Evault 10.0.1 exchange Archiving task and could do with some assistance.

Evault 10.0.1 (Fresh Install) on Server 2008 R2 Std edition

Exchange is 2010SP1 (Not in Dag) 2 x CAS, 2 X HT, 1 Mailbox server

Backup agent Netbackup 7.1

 

All seems good except when trying to Archive. Event log says "Start to Process exchange System XXXXXX" and then nothing else. When i run in report mode, report shows the mailboxes i want to archive and all correct details in regards no of items to Archive etc.

1. Deployment scanner all green for the areas im concerned with.

2. I have followed http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH169970 as advised by Symantec agent

3. Checked Load balancer TCP Session Timeout config as also advised in http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH169970

4. Added DS registry Key

5. Checked MAPI connectivity from evault server and all successfull

6. I have run a D Trace against the Exchange Archiving and loaded the results here.

 

Any opinions or advice appreciated

435 13:54:38.992  [7944] (ArchiveTask) <5584> EV:M Archive 1219F3DDE25FB594D84FFCC0E631D0D6D1110000eVaultserver1 will not be processed. The VaultStore 139D030E17B21A345A2F83F2B675E31131210000eVaultserver1 does not contain any open partitions.

Hey JesusWept 2,

 

Thanks for the quick response, i am testing now and will update ASAP. I have spent 5 hours with Symantec agents and sent numerous Traces and was getting no where.

Thanks a million for the quick reponse and suggestion.

oh man, i'm really sorry :)
But yeah, create a new vault store partition or open any closed ones if you can, and then simply it will start working, if you look at the trace, the two mailboxes it tries to scan it pretty much stops immediately because of that, because its not going to waste its time  trying to store items when it can't because of no where to put it

 Once again thank You - top dog,

 

a bit confusing as when i was creating the Partition got this message  i prompted me to put partition in ready state as i had in open. I must of misunderstoodwink
