Exchange 'Notes'??

Back again!

Just a quick one this time. I have been through the Admin Guide but there's nothing obvious about what it does.

Where would a 'Locate & Migrate' PST migration put migrated Notes?? This is the first person in a year that asked about Outlook Notes. A user said he stored all his usernames within the Notes section on a PST. Now its been migrated to EV, the Notes are gone. I've had a root around on his machine and can't see anything. User Guide only mentions Folders, Calendars and Contacts.

As you are probably aware Enterprise Vault archives (and migrates PSTs) partly based on message class.

A 'Note' in Outlook = IPM.StickyNote

So what message classes are you archiving, and/or PST migrating?  If it's in your policy it will be in the archive - if not it'll be in the original PST file, or it'll be in the Notes folder in Outlook (or even a Notes subfolder under the area where the PSTs were migrated to)
