Export Archive wizard missing

I want to export a vaulted mailbox, but when I right-click 'Archives' and choose 'Export...', I get an error saying:

Unable to Launch Export Archive Wizard (ExportArchiveWizard.exe)

Reason: The system cannot find the path specified.

So my question is, where can I get this wizard from?

Thanks in advance.

well that means something is really wrong
So quick question, if you go to your install directory, do you see it there?
i.e.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault\ExportArchiveWizard.exe

Also I don't suppose you installed the client on the server recently?
for instance if you open up RegEdit and go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\WOW632Node\SOFTWARE\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Install

Do you see InstallPath, and is it set correctly OR is it set to something like
C:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault\EVClient\ ?

You may just want to run the Setup.exe again and have it re-install EV
It won't overwrite any configuration settings or anything, it will just refresh all the files, re-register all the DLL's and COM Servers and DCOM packages etc, but will also resolve the install path etc

Hi JesusWept3,

Thanks for that.

This made me search on the G: drive, where I did find it. I foolishly only searched on C: earlier.

Trying to run it from there gives me the error:

The command line argument supplied to Export Archive Wizard were invalid.

In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KVS\Enterprise Vault\Install there is no entry called 'InstallPath'.

I did find 'InstallPath' in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KVS\Enterprise Vault\FIPS.

That install path is pointing to: G:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault which is correct.

Should I copy that installpath to the 'Install' node?

This is an old-ish EV installation, and it is a bit rickety we think, so I would be concerned about running the Set-up in case it breaks anything. Are you totally sure that it won't? ;)

Many thanks for your reply.

Adding the InstallPath entry has now allowed me to manually export archives, so thanks for that.
