FOI Searches

Hello Folks

Here's a subject that has not to myu knowledge been discussed yet. I am sure in these days of FOI we all get lots of requests to perform journal searches for a perticular subject.

I recently did a journal search for our FOI department that returned over 300 entries - is there anyway that these can be extracted from the journal either onto CD, or into a PST or indeed send then to another mailbox.

To go into each one and forward them would be costly in time.

How do you handle your FOI requests ?

I'd do it via the "Baskets" in the EV Search.
Just add all elements you want to restore to a Basket and then, you can restore all those Elements to another Mailbox or in another Folder, as you like.

You can then Extract those Mails out of the Mailbox to a PST File and Burn it onto a CD if needed.

Cheers

Hi,
I'm presuming it's 'freedom of information' act. ie typically local country laws allowing the public certain access to government data etc.
