FS archiving issue for one particular drive

Windows Server 2008 R2, Service Pack 1 : EV server

Attached Dtrace logs and screen shots for reference.

FS Archiving is not working for F$ and no shortcut gets created , Archiving is working for other drives. We took one of the folder from F$ and selected for archiving example : Disbusment-Data archiving started for that folder.

Please refer screen shots and attached Dtrace logs and suggest us solution.

Actually, looking at the screenshot I can see that archiving is off for all folders in the F drive (check the 3rd column). Can you try to enable archiving and see if it works?

Hi team,

Shortcuts are not created and Archiving was configured  off to some of folders to check this issue exsists on one particular folder. Arching is not working on entire F$ and not even with individual folder.

Kindly help on same..

Hi,

If you have the task configured with Full report you can view that report file to see if there are any files within that path.  If none show then either the path was not scanned or there were no items that matched a rule.  The only way to see this is with a Dtrace of the EvFsaArchivingTask process.
