Hi,
I´ve got a system runing EV 12.2 on Windows 2012R2 both exchange and fil archiving.
My issue is related to FSA and duplicate files error in arhcive log after archive run.
I did find this technote:
https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH75775
But it is not related do share vs fsa target.
Running the EVDuplicateCleaner it returns with an error:
INPUT VAULTSTORE: Vault01
INPUT ARCHIVE: NOT SUPPLIED
>>>>> STARTING REPORT RUN >>>>> [21-nov-2017 21:38:23]
>>> Archive [Name='Arkive' Type='FileSystemArchive'] will not be processed. [21-nov-2017 21:38:23]
>>> REPORT RUN SUMMARY [21-nov-2017 21:38:23]
TOTAL SAVESETS PROCESSED: 0
TOTAL SAVESETS FAILED (NOT PROCESSED): 0
>>>>> FINISHED EXECUTION >>>>> [21-nov-2017 21:38:23]
Question is how can I cleanup the duplicate files?
Thank you!!
/Kenneth

Hi mate,
Have you specified the ArchiveID when running the EVDuplicateCleaner?

Hi Virgil,
Thaks for answering :)
No i have not, reason for that is that its hundres for archive ID if im not mistaking. One ID per user and alot of users.
Command:
EVDuplicateCleaner Report vault_store_name
States that it will then report in all archives in the vault store.
Am I missing something?
Cheers!!

Hi Kenneth,
Nope, it should work without it as that's optional.
It is quite strange. We'll need to review logs to get more insight. Have you contacted support already?

Hi Virgil,
I´ve not been in contact with support yet, but considering it now.
I did the same test in my lab environment, same output from command.
What logs should I look at?
Thanks :)

First I guess support would review the archiving report, then event viewer and dtrace on the FSA task.
