Dear EV experts!

Our customer has a test env with EV 12 and FSA archiving.
We have that problem:
1. If we click the archived file in Windows Explorer and want to
see the properties.(file size, modification date etc)
The file come back from the archive and it is problematic
if we have a big file.We want to prevent that.
Question:
- How can we fix that the file doesnt come back in the event
when we watch the properties?

Hi paulo7,

This is typically an issue with Explorer requesting more information about the file and that is not contained within the placeholder.  This can be if Details or Preview pane is enabled.  https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100023905

Disable the Windows Explorer "Details Pane" and "Preview Pane"

Windows File Explorer ---- Organize ----- Layout ------ Details Pane

Windows File Explorer ---- Organize ----- Layout ------ Preview Pane

Newer versions will have these settings under the View tab in Explorer.

Some additional reasons this may occur.
