FSA in EV11 is not able to do volume archive and placeholder relocation update

Dear All,

I am facing the EV11 is not able to adopt the volume policy even I changed the policy with creation time = 1 day old.  There is nothing to be shown up in the RUN NOW Report.

It works no issue with the Folder policy

Besides, the placeholder relocation is not able to refresh in the vault search.  Is this necessary to use fsautility -m? 

Please advise.

Hi,

I have the similar issue, but can't be fixed by removed checkpoint.xml because it didn't exist at all.

Does a Dtrace of the EvFsaArchivingTask show the policy being applied properly?  The Ignore volume rules for this folder options is not checked?  

EV will not update the location of the PH files when they are moved manually.  They must be moved with FSAUtility to update the DB.  However, this requires that the files exist in the source location.
