FSA on DFS shares?

Hi!
I don't fully understand the compatibility matrix.
A customer has a Win2003 SP2 server set upp with DFS like:

\\domain.local\DFS
as root poiting to \\server\DFS$

Under this they have six shares \Appl, \Group  and so on. These are located local on the fileserver on three different volumes.

They would like to implement EV ver 8.4 as it looks now to archive files. Is it possible to implement FSA for archiving and being able to use the Pölaceholder service to create shortcuts in DFS?

Yes, that is supported. You will need to target the physical shares, and not attempt to archive through the DFS path. DFS-R is not supported due to a limitation in DFS-R.
