FSAUtility - restore archive to other location

Hello all,

EV90SP2 : Is it possible to restore a file-archive to another share? Even when the original FS location is no longer available? Does the new location require an FSA agent installed, or can it be any accessible fileshare?

Thanks

Regards. Gertjan

I just tried a restore using:

FSAUTILITY -t -s \\fileserver\share -d \\newplace\share

And in my test the File Server was turned off.

The new place doesn't have the agent installed.

Hope that helps,

Hi Rob,

That made me think. I used the console to search the archive, and noticed that the location I used in the command line was wrong! I entered the location as shown in the item-properties, and bang, restoring.

Thanks!

GJ
